I am a lifelong learner and fiercely passionate about my work. Through my background in storytelling, fundraising, and volunteering, I have developed a robust skill set and breadth of professional and personal experience.
A FEW THINGS ABOUT ME
1. I’m a sourdough (born and raised in Alaska) so I’m more comfortable on skis than I am on my own two feet.
2. My husband and I have remodeled several homes across the country, including a100-year old farmhouse in North Carolina. Whew.
3. I have 30 years of experience volunteering with non-profits and 15 years in storytelling and marketing.
To further demonstrate my commitment to the fundraising profession, I received my Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) in 2019. I have my MBA from Roosevelt University with concentrations in Marketing & Nonprofit Management. I am also a lifelong Vandal, having received B.A.s in Advertising and Journalism from the University of Idaho.
It was the trust placed by the Idaho Community Foundation in a fresh-faced college graduate that sparked my career in the non-profit industry, where my eyes opened to the power passionate people can have on the charities that serve and support the communities they love.
Since then, I’ve developed a 10-year career spearheading fundraising, and communications initiatives. In addition, I have lent my knowledge of marketing and digital engagement to small businesses, nonprofits, and individuals.
